Kylie Cosmetic lipkit review | 22 and Koko K

March 27, 2016 ,

So I have been desperately trawling kyliecosmetics website and instagram account for weeks and I finally managed to get my hands on two of the lip kits *squeals of joy*

I bought shades Koko K and 22. My first impressions of the lip kits were that the shades weren’t quite as I expected, although this is always a possibility when ordering online! That being said; I’m really pleased with them. Each lip kit comes with a matte liquid lipstick and matching lip liner. The textures are gorgeous; the lip liner is really creamy and glides on without dragging the lips. And the liquid lipsticks are highly pigmented, long wearing and the ingredients contain moisturising properties so that they don’t dry out the lips. Although the lip kits contain moisturising ingredients I would definitely advise applying a lip balm prior to application so your lips are as hydrated as possible. This will make the liquid lipstick sit a lot nicer too!

Koko K was part of the Valentines launch and is the first shade to be named after one of Kylie’s sisters; Khloé Kardashian. A pale, nudey pink shade suitable for all skin tones. I’m really quite pale and I loved wearing Koko K.

22 was launched at the end of February and not surprisingly it sold out within minutes! 22 is a burnt orange, rusty colour. I don’t have any other lipsticks / glosses like this shade, so I was delighted with it. I think this is a real statement shade and I can’t wait to wear it again! If you have blue / green eyes this shade will really make your eyes pop.

The latest shade to join the Kylie Cosmetics family is Kourt K; a deep purple shade named after Kylie’s eldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian.

Have you tried the Kylie Cosmetics lip kits yet? What did you think?
