I love the rose gold / copper trend that’s dominated the shops throughout the last year and I wanted to incorporate it into a makeup look. Another trend I’ve been loving recently is the spotlight / halo effect where the centre of the lid appears lighter than the rest of the lid. So I decided to merge the two.
Just before Christmas I purchased a few of the foiled eyeshadows from Makeup Geek (which are now available to buy in the UK via Beauty Bay). They have the most gorgeous textures / shades. One in particular, ‘flamethrower’, is a metallic glitter copper shadow and I LOVE it! So I figured I had to use it in this look.
Warmer tones, such as copper, are perfect for blue / green eyes, although they really will look fab on any eye colour. See below for a full product listing:
